So who honestly doesn't love a magical girl? Am I right? The stories that they bring forth have changed generations and honestly are some of the most compelling hands down. I grew up watching Sailor Moon as well as Card Captor Sakura religiously, much to my parent's disdain. I'm still watching Sailor Moon, been plowing through whats been released on Hulu, and I've tentatively started on Sailor Moon Crystal, I'm having a hard time with how fast it moves. Which is silly I know, but I'm just happy overall that SM has made a comeback and is now reaching a new audience of fans.
I honestly think the show has given so much to us, it had such a wide audience and really touched on a multitude of issues. I know in the US version it was sliced up, but in the comics I got ahold of you could really see better what was happening. I'm primarily referencing Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus, and their love for each other. I remember being young and having a conversation about it with someone else my age, and we both agreed they should live happily ever after, and why isn't this in the tv series?
I don't think I'll ever ever forget the theme song.

Both photos of patches belong to sugarbones.
